Hey James,

Really enjoy your sight and some of your thoughts on football in our part of the world. I'm a Knights fan (so I know I have your sympathy already!), trying to get info on what is happening with the squad is near impossible here I haveto rely on Tribalfootball and yourself for info.

Keep up the good work.

Riccardo Ball

PS What's the likelyhood of us retaining Tambo or Zenon?

Thanks for the support, Riccardo. I have no idea what's going on with the Tambo's and Caravella's contracts. Last I heard, Queensland weren't going to pursue a deal with Zenon so if he's free to play at the start of the season I can't see why the Knights mightn't re-sign him.

I hope you also check out the Knights fans forum. Those guys are way more on top of potential Knights player movements than I.

Cheers!

hi james! ivan vicelich is also a major transfer prospect! this has surfaced when it was reported that ivan would like to return to NZ. He is playing for Roda JC in the dutch eredivisie.

also, minor prospects that have surfaced in the in the knights forum are Vaughn Coveny who is playing for south melbourne, and Dave Mulligan from Doncaster, slightly unlikely though.

wicked site!

James,

YOu have upset my day. I saw Jonas Salley on a tram the Monday before last and took that as a hopeful sign that he might have been announced as a signing for Melbourne. Having said that he is right sided and we (Victory) have a far more urgent need to fix our left side of defence. Have you heard any rumours on that front? Do you know if Simon Storey pays the Victory to play or is it the other way around?

coveny and a canterbury united player called michael white are almost certain to sign! coveny got a double against georgia this morning so an awesome coup for the knights. apparently the paperwork is 80% done for coveny and white to join. nevin says in the nz herald this morning that the other 3 or 4 positions will be filled with strikers.
